2019 Lilyhemmer Fall Daylily Festival

This is our 25th daylily fall festival! The location is in Camp Hill, near Harrisburg PA. Official events are scheduled noon to noon, October 19-20, 2019. Many attendees arrive early on Friday and enjoy the informal preview activities Friday evening and Saturday morning. Saturday morning we also hold clinics, Jim Murphy hosts a chat room, and we have other fun activities. We have many exciting speakers including Chad Bush, Daru Sharp, Carol Warner, John Kulpa, Peter Donato, and Phil Fass. Peter Donato will show the daylilies of the future. Stuart Kendig will present the 2019 LilyGame, which will confuse some and excite many. A wonderful buffet dinner is included in the registration fee and we have a huge plant raffle, silent auction, and great daylilies for auction.

We are excited this year to provide a reduced registration rate for first time attendees! And we have a great daylily plant to give each new attendee. We want more participation from within Region 3 and we love everyone who travels to Lilyhemmer from other AHS Regions. Lilyhemmer is fun for every daylily enthusiast who is able to attend.

Registration fee for 2019 is $90 (USD); $50 for first time attendees and $45 for youth members.

Live Auction Donations
(Saturday night, after dinner) AHS members and hybridizers have generously supported our auction and we again need your support. Potted plants are preferred, bare root plants don't work for everyone in October in our climate, but certificates for spring shipment are also welcomed. Lilyhemmer attendees are encouraged to pot up a great plant and bring it for the auction. People may also send plants to Stuart Kendig before Labor Day and we will pot the plant(s) for auction.
